CUC welcomes OfS Strategy Roadmap 2025–2030

Responding to the publication of the Office for Students (OfS) Strategy Roadmap 2025–2030, James Dunphy, Chief Executive of the Committee of University Chairs (CUC), reported that:

“The CUC welcome the OfS Strategy Roadmap and the focus on effective governance within this.  We are delighted to have the full support of both the UK Government and the OfS for the work CUC is leading to refresh the Higher Education Code of Governance.  This will deliver updated governance expectations for CUC members and is a demonstration of clear sector leadership at a time of challenge and change”

“We particularly welcome the renewed commitment OfS is making to work in partnership with the sector.  CUC looks forward to playing its full part in this, ensuring the voice of Chairs in the development of a successful and sustainable higher education sector.”
