📢 Join us for an important online discussion exploring the foundations of effective academic governance and the assurance mechanisms that support governing bodies in delivering their responsibilities.

We are delighted to welcome senior representatives from the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) and Professor Sue Rigby, Principal and Vice-Chancellor of Edinburgh Napier University, who will share their perspectives on the relationship between governing bodies and academic governance structures, and how boards can gain confidence that academic standards, quality and the student experience are being effectively overseen.

This confidential session, held under the Chatham House Rule, will provide practical insights into one of the governing body’s most important areas of responsibility and offer an opportunity for Chairs to explore current challenges and emerging good practice across the sector.

This 90-minute online session will include:
