CUC Online Event: Leading Through Collaboration: Establishing a Multi-University Group
📅 Date: Thursday, 25 February 2027
🕓 Time: 16:00 – 17:00
📢 What does it take to establish and lead successful collaboration between universities? Join us for a confidential conversation exploring the opportunities, challenges and lessons involved in developing a multi-university group.
We are delighted to welcome Mark Preston and Professor Jane Harrington to share their experiences and reflections on working collaboratively across institutions, from developing strong relationships and shared ambitions to navigating leadership and governance arrangements.
Held under the Chatham House Rule, this session will allow Chairs to hear first-hand perspectives, discuss the practical realities of collaboration, and consider lessons for governing bodies across the sector.
The 60-minute session will explore:
• Establishing a multi-university group
• Building effective relationships and shared priorities
• Leadership and governance across collaborating institutions
• Key challenges, opportunities and lessons learned
• Discussion and Q&A with attendees
